Social Media Policy
When using ALL forms of Social Media (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitter, Youtube) all students, parents/guardians/attendee’s must adhere to our Social Media Policy.
Students may not photograph, video or record any material in classes without the teacher’s permission.
Where permission has been given to record a class/routine/trick for rehearsal purposes, use of that recording has been authorised for that purpose only and under no circumstances must it be posted on any Social Media platform.
Where permission has been given to record a class/routine/trick for social media purposes, only the permitted component may be shared to social media, at most 30secs and no carousel post displaying a routine in its entirety is permitted.
Any and all choreography for Showcases including Solos, Level/Course Classes, Casual Classes, Workshops etc., taught by Queens of Pole Fitness & Dance staff and guest instructors, remains the property of Queens of Pole Fitness & Dance. Should any material be posted to Social Media (in agreement with this policy) credit must be given to Queens of Pole Fitness & Dance and the instructor. This includes footage purchased from Showcases and/or Competitions.
No footage of Queens of Pole Fitness & Dance routines are to be shared to social media without permission from Queens of Pole Fitness & Dance.
The recording and airing, sharing, posting, distribution of instructor’s routines, is a serious breach of copyright and may result in offenders being asked to withdraw from Queens of Pole Fitness & Dance and in some circumstances, legal action may be considered.
Under NO circumstances are any photos or video footage to be taken in Showcase/Competition change rooms.
Members are not authorised to contact Queens of Pole Fitness & Dance staff via Social Media at any time or for any reason. Should an instructor be contacted, it is their duty to let the Studio Manager know so it can be monitored. With the exception being private lesson/ongoing coaching clients so instructor may plan for the session adequately. Any member under the age of 18 will need parental consent form to be completed allowing their child to communicate with staff over social media. This will be closely monitored at all times.
Social Media is not to be used to communicate attendance, queries or any other administrative information. This must be done through the relevant Queens of Pole (Studio) Members page.
Bullying/harassment of any kind over social media will not be tolerated and may result in termination of students’ enrolment, or a permanent ban from the brand.
Students, parents/guardians/attendee’s and teachers are not to post any content that may bring Queens of Pole Fitness & Dance into disrepute.
All posts on Social Media that are Queens of Pole Fitness & Dance or dance related are to be appropriate and tasteful. Any posts seen on social media that are deemed inappropriate or distasteful will result in the students being notified and the post being taken down of all platforms.
Please ensure that when you re recording your content, you have the consent of any other members visible in your photo/video to be shared to social media.
Failure to abide by all of the above may result in disciplinary action.
